This promises to be a very exciting summer.
First, I am stage managing Romeo and Juliet at the Great River Shakespeare Festival. Rehearsals have been going extremely well and tonight the cast began to learn some swing dancing moves for the party scene (it’s a Mad Men 50’s/60’s setting).
And for the first time in a very long time, Theatre du Mississippi, for which I am the Artistic Director, is producing a unique, historical play.
“The Hired Girl Gets Married,” by local playwright Lynn Nankivil, will be performed in the Historic Bunnell House in Homer, Minnesota.
If you are in the Winona, MN area this summer, there is some great theatre for you!
